Well He heard you. Check out the FREE AutoIt and ScriptIt program's messages, that
I've send to the List lately, subject : VBScript (Windows Scripting Host)-part4-AutoIt)
(replace "part4-AutoIt" for "part3-ScriptIt") or see my homepage
http://home.wxs.nl/~anthmaas

---------------------------------------------------------------

Both the programs are available for FREE and are very, very, very EASY to learn
(upose to <for newbies> the MetaStock formula-language or VBScript).

They replace the old DOS-Batch, actualy they are much more than just an "upgrade".
See these programs as the middle between 2 extremes, where one extreme(eg
the command.com's Run) is the simplest command language and the other extreme
(eg Visual Basic, C) is the difficultest.

ScriptIt, for example, can use the:
-INI File commands (INI's internal and external, eg the Sections & Keys' commands)
-DOS Batch commands (DOS's internal, external and batch specific commands)
-WIN Batch commands (Windows' internal, external and batch specific commands,
eg most stem from DOS/DOS Batch)
-WIL Batch commands (Windows Interface Language by Willow Ware Inc. commands,
eg the Willow Ware's WinBatch-program commands. Microsoft have licensed
some of their programming language, WIL , to be implemented in ScriptIt).

ScriptIt's layout, for example, is in the INI-style, eg the same as known from the Windows' INI-files
(eg system.ini, win.ini, dialer.ini etc. etc.), can be adjusted in NotePad(same as for DOS Batch),
and can be saved using your own extension (if it is not already registred in Windows-Registry),
else you can use another 2 or 3 alphabet's character's combination for the extension.

Who needs MetaStock then for automating? e.g. Go --> Auto-ScriptIt-ting, I would say !!!
and (computer) live is again made so much easier in Win9.x and MetaStock and all other
programs for that matter (no offence here to Equis, tho).
