&quot;Stochastic Momentum&quot; which gives the formula for the&nbsp; true 
stength index.&nbsp; This article refers to an older article by Blau in the Jan 
'91 TASC &quot;Double Smoothed Stochastics&quot;.&nbsp; Blau has also written a 
book.&nbsp; My guess is that the earlier article or the book may have what you 
want.&nbsp; The TRIX indicator in MS is also a triple smoothed 
function.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>My own preference is for simpler indicators, and for roc to be 
in % rather than $.&nbsp; I also use a roc of a short moving average as this 
gives a smoother&nbsp; curve.</FONT></DIV>
