One simple way would be to draw a trend line through the last 2  points on
the MACD.  Another way is to draw a linear regression line through the last
3 or more points. You might be able to program this in metastock.

Quoting Kennedy Sr., the father of our late president,  you cant buy at the
lows or sell at the highs.  There is always some lag in any system.
