The Excel 4.0 "Users manual" (remember those) has an extensive section on
organizing and recording/writing control macros and sub-routine macros.
Will try to post some of it when the continuing saga that started with "the
patch" finally ends.
I now know what that famous English saying meant "my kingdom is lost for a
horseshoe nail" or whatever the real quote is.
I never believed so many things could cascade down the mountainside.
