I've been through this several times with Equis. The last time I received a
second e-mail with an apology saying that it couldn't do it. That's why I
was so surprised that they said they could. Since I haven't upgraded to
6.52 yet, I figured, maybe they actually fixed this thing so that you could
system test day trading. Up to now, MS never supported this feature.

Interesting exercise. I tried it while waiting for some data, and I could
not get MetaStock to open and close the position on the same day. This is
in spite of Equis Support's Feb 8 message:

"MetaStock Professional and MetaStock for Windows 95/NT
versions 6.52 both support entry and exit on different data
arrays on the same day. Enter at the open and exit at the
           close for example."

Can anyone else shed some light on this apparent problem (or goof-up on my
part)?
