I download indices, stocks and a handful of mutual funds, and typically
between 4:00 and 5:00 PST. In the last month I upgraded to a cable modem
and the actual download time is now very fast. The biggest delays are
verification of all the folders and the updating of the database after the
download (both DownLoader problems, I think).
Could it be your ISP causing the time-outs?
