There is no easy way that I know of.
Periodically I'll scan my folders. Open the Downloader, on the tools menu
click on delete, browse to the folder you want to scan and open it. Scan
down the list for dates. You can catch the discontinued symbol if its more
than a few days old: like if it stopped updating on the 9th and its now the
14th. You dont have to check each folder every day, nor check them all at
once. For stocks that you are actively following you'll probably notice
right away that it is not updating.
Quotes Plus downloading-converting system usually notifies me that a
"symbol is not in the database" or some such message.
