It's nice to see that Equis is working on a patch for the
Euroconversion, but it has been 2 months since the most basic problem
of all with Downloader was aired on this list: you cannot update
securities across more than one data subdirectory with the Downloader.
That makes Downloader virtually worthless to most users, since most
have more than one data subdirectory.
How are we supposed to update our data subdirectories--manually for
1000 securities, I suppose?
Equis first claimed there was no problem, then acknowledged it,
then finally dismissed the problem as a minor glitch and promised to
fix it at some future indefinte time.
Well it is not a minor glitch, so users beware. Downloader is
practically useless till it is fixed.
