Equis support: Thank you for the response.

I know that CSI is a competitor. But so are the other services that also
provide data for Metastock. Will they also have similar problems?

As I point out in my original email, I would GLADLY use your Reuters service
however you do not provide true global coverage and you do not cover many of
the cash markets. Also, when I last checked there was not way to
back-adjust futures contracts let alone create perpetual contracts.

Back to the point. Are you basically saying that once we get to Jan2000 the
only way I am going to be able to use CSI UA data in Metastock Pro
(end-of-day mode) is by creating ASCII files and then using the downloader
to convert to metastock files?

I collect data on 78 markets in 4 formats (nearest, backadjusted, individual
contract and cash). These (at least) 312 "files" are segregated in 6
seperate directories on my hard disk. Do I have to manually convert each of
these files on a nightly basis? If so, then thats crazy. I am sure that is
not what you are suggesting. Please tell me how I would actually do it in
practice.

Thank you again for you patience.

Essan Soobratty.
