You cant merge a metastock data base with Quotes Plus data base. What you
can do is use Quotes Plus to update your metastock files. Its very easy,
Quotes Plus produces an icon labeled "output to metastock", this lead to a
menu where one of the options is "define automatically updated directories".
All you need to do is enter the path and name for each directory or folder,
and these will be updated each night. For indexes you can either change the
ticker in the metastock data file or use the "dictionery" that allows you to
enter the Quotes Plus symbol and the symbol that is in your file. Also,
some tickers, such as those for adrs and class A stock need changing, most
data suppliers use XYZ.A or XYZ A, Quotes Plus uses XYZ A ( ticker followed
by 2 spaces).
