Thanks all, Chris, Ed, UG and David. (Got overdongled here..)

I have explained Prognosis "my situation" using the printerport for naturaly a printer(HP),
and also having its female entry plug+line being 'broken up' by a Zipdrive(IOM)-see below.
But also how you all brought forward the ins+outs of the, in my opinion too, extra 'weight'
on a computer, with all the specific implications as they occured in your mails, I explained
to them.

Speaking to Arjan van Gogh(no not family of), their reply sound sincere as well as fair
and honest, as their software can be code-cracked(currently their older version+modules
are available on the Russian markets for around U$100). Other software producers
face and will face the same crack-mafia(no not those sniffers) and this spreads worlwide.
At the request of old-users of their software they have decided to choose for this
hardware lock. Note in this that Prognosis is not such a big company, actualy a smaller
company 'on its way up', and as such have to deal towards the market as they can see fit.

The endline of this all resulted in Arjan mentioning that he will reply in writing to our phone
conversation, explaining their stand in this. As such I will await his email.

>From myself not using a laptop or desktop, but a 'mini-tower' there should be enough room
left to have it fitted, as the Iomega Zip plug fitted as well. This situation with the Zip 'screwed'
in the middle between printer-port and printers plug, I have used from the first day that I bought
my machine, and never had any problems as such, tho I had to remember not to access the
Zip-drive while printing in the back-ground or visa versa. And the Iomega is my daily right hand
in archiving, and does so to my greatest and fullest satisfaction. Could not do without the little maestro.
Also my printer functions well and prints out beautifuly. It is my second one tho, as the first one's
ink-wagon went haywire in a direction it was not suppose go, creating in the room a vulcano
vally lake like Mount Toba's on Sumatra(Ind.). But then in black with multicolor ribbons.

Am I pleased with this linking-through-through? Yes and no. Yes as in above succesfull operating
on and with my machine's setup+configuration. No as in this can, emphasis on can and not will,
lead to errors.
One thing I hate when using a computer is errors. Entirely free from errors, will take another 20-25
years, but I have and still am trying to keep these to a minimum. Note that I have the time to sort
them all out, eg find most of their causes, as the machine is my bread and income, as such it is
here a must to have them solved, for good or for worse.

This I also told Arjan, and in this respect he totally agrees. "They have searched thouroughly looking
for a good and properly build peace of hardware, wich in future will be available in an USB compliant
version too". Wich then might be smaller in size? Forgot to ask him.
"With their current version they have had hardly no to non complaints what so ever". "Their complaints
received where mostly specific on the Waves and indicators and their usage and some general
computer-technical questions, and in this, they noticed that they are getting a bigger and wider
audience, not so familiar or not familiar with the Elliott Theory specific and computers in general".
"That is too, why they have put a lot of effort into these 'endless' Help-files".

Within a few weeks from now I will most definitly order their 30-day Trial version(U$75), what is
there too lose, and who knows with one or two transactions(trades) will hit this outlay being returned,
or better, being returned 'moreover'. This Trial version ofcourse will be dongled.
Will keep you all and the List informed when newer details will pop-up, like Arjans reply or
when on ordering.

Thanks again for you all excellent explaining dongle,

Regards,
