Sometimes we ignore the simple and continue to look for answers
in complicated math and physics. Anyone out there that can add
two numbers together and divide by two could have impressed
friends and relatives (and made impressive gains to their
portfolio) by triggering sales in futures, options or equities
when the S&P 500 met the 50% retracement level. Coincidence?
Maybe.
