The workaround for this is to not use the close rules, but rather let a 
stop take you out of the position.  The inactivity stop is what you are 
looking for (version 6.5 assumed).  Set the parameters for something 
ridiculous like "If the position doesn't make 10,000% in 5 days then 
exit the position."  In this way, you will be closed after 5 days (or 
have hit a WHALE of a goldmine 10,000% winner!)  <g>

Using the system tester, is there any function to tell me how long I've 
been
in a position?  

Say I have a system that I want to test, and the exit criteria is to 
sell 5
days after I bought (Cooper's 5 day momentum system comes to mind).  
What
would my "exit long" rule look like?
