Perhaps this trader is using AMAT to hedge himself
against ANY movement in
the
price of the stock...he may be using 2 accts to
trade and is essentially
flat,
but in fact at the same time, he has a position
(for tax reasons) in each
acct
(hedge funds do this frequently)...also look to
options activity...he can
be
using the stock to cover options trades, which are
much more leveraged.
