RE: command-line ascii->metastock converter?

PureBytes Links

Trading Reference Links

For stocks I do it by the alphabet Mkt_Data\Sotcks\AAAAAAAA
						  \BBBBBBBB
						 etc.

For anything I have a position in I copy to a ..\CURRENT directory.

I found trying to divide thing by industry was a real pain. Didn't really
help me with anything I use for trading.
I use signal for the daily stuff to get the news ticks. I have the
security symbols listed across several pages alphabetically This was I
can find thing when I need them.

One thing to watch is Downloader will not update the same security in two
seperate directories. I update the \CURRENT directory by itself

Life can be simple........

Well, now I do too; thanks. ;-)

I'm really pissed at myself that I didn't see this earlier. What I have
now
is something like:

dirs:
c:\invest
c:\invest\data1
c:\invest\data2

files:
data1.dat
data2.dat

I set the source file to *.dat, and the dest dir to c:\invest with
"traverse..." option set. Works great.

Thanks again!
