The software people and other groups I deal with usually refer to the
"design team" ,  the "project team" or a similar term.  Referring to a sub
group, such as programmers, always means that they have the ressponsibility.

Since you appear to be quite literate with American English terminology and
language,  the difficulty of getting meaningful changes into metastock, and
the removal of good features in the program;  I must assume that your use of
the term  "programmers"  means that the wrong group has primary
responsibility for the program.

This saddens me very much and it should worry you very much.
