    As of last Friday (July 31, for the record), the more accurate of the two
MIRAT's (called "MIRAT") went Closed (Short to those who Short the Market).

    The other MIRAT, called "Classic MIRAT", is still Long, as it has been
since 7/2/98.

    I'm sorry to see that Mike Burk, MIRAT's author, is getting out of the
retail software arena.  It seems that MIRAT has been, and will continue to be,
one of investment software's little known treasures (IMHO).
