Is MetaStock for Real Traders?

I am a Professional trader and have been using MetaStock for 3 years.
Although the program is an adequate platform for creating and charting
indicators, it is in the area of the user interface that makes me wonder
whether or not the developers of the program actually trade. Here is a
list of my gripes.

* I trade multiple commodities so during the day I need a fast way to
toggle between them without using the Window or File pull down menu.
TradeStation allows you to assign buttons on the toolbar to different
securities so you can instantly toggle between them.

* How about a refresh button so when I update prices during the trading
session I do not have to close down all the charts and reopen them to
reflect the new prices. Makes sense right!

* How about a useful and efficient Paper Trade Mode that advances the
chart one day at a time WITHOUT plotting the indicator beyond the
current day. Common sense right! You can accomplish this by advancing
the Last Date Loaded value in the x-Axis Properties dialog box but that
requires way too many mouse clicks.

* I plot multiple inner windows in two page side by side layouts for
each commodity. Gets a little crowded sometimes. How about a tabbed
interface like a spreadsheet with tabs in the bottom that allow you you
to flip through each page in a multiple page layout?

* I plot the same custom indicator multiple times with different user
input values. How about displaying a selected user input value in the
chart title bar. For example plotting two moving averages with one
titled a "10 period MA" and the other titled a "25 period MA". Makes it
less confusing Right!

OK, That's it for now.
