Reformatting the C drive  and reloading all of the software and data would
be a real pain.  In fact, it would be an 8.4Gb pain.  :)

I can't imagine reloading all of my programs again, but maybe it wouldn't be
too bad.  I could back the data onto the D: drive (5.25Gb) and reinstall all
of the software on C:.  I'll have to take a look at what would be involved.

betcha you did a update install.

try format C:

then install...

will work much better then.  Carrying along all your old problems will not
result in a more stable system...
