To all interested in Wyckoff Method

1- Here's a web adress about Wyckoff Method: Stock and Futures Market:
Volume Spread Analysis VSA

www.ocea.es/vsa/home.htm

2- I send the book to Jim Greening about the VSA (Wyckoff Method). He is
supposed to read the book in the automn he said to me. He will certainly
write his comments about the book to the metastock user group.

3- We are a user group of Metastock for the Montreal area (Quebec, Canada)
(in french) and all the members (12) had read this book and appreciated a
lot. So we decided to try to programm this to the metastock language.

Here's are some similitude with Wyckoff and Candlestick but Candlestick
doesn't care about volume:

Wyckoff Candlestick

Top reversal patterns: signs of wakness after a substantial uptrend

1- Sellers overwhelm buyers Bearish engulfing pattern
2- Buying climax in a top formation Gravestone jojo or shooting star
(for upthrust in a downtrend)
3-Up gap to close down well into Dark cloud cover
previous day range: distribution
pattern with sellers possibly
taking over.
4-Loss of up momentum with reversal Evening star
selling. Drying up of buying
5- Demand exhaustion with buyers Long legged doji
and sallers at a stalemate
6- Demand is faltering: uptrend is Hanging man
vulnerable
7- Stalling of up move: could indicate Bearih harami
that the previous up bar had distribution

Bottoms reversal patterns: signs of strenght after a substantial downtrend

1- Buyers overwhelm sellers Bullish engulfing
pattern
2- Test or shakeout. With Hammer
volume=stopping volume
3- A bullish reversal signal in a downtrend Inverted hammer
4- Down gap toclose well up into previous Piercing line (opposite of
Dark cloud cover)
day range. Buyers move in
5- Stopping of down momentum with Morning star (opposite of
evening star)
reversal buying. Drying up of selling
6- Gapping up to discourage selling Rising window
7- Stalling of down move: could indicate Bullish harami
that previous down bar had accumulation

4- Any of you who make some research about the Wyckoff Method is welcome to
contact me and share about it.

5- Special thanks to M. Lavigne in my Montreal user group who made this
relationship between Wyckoff and Candlestick.
