Causes of accidents you are recommanding :
- Irrational organization,
- Dangerous manual operations,
- Routine

Millions of people hate :
* Irrational organization - The purpose of a downloader module is to
import/export. The purpose of a charting module to chart. Why the hell
link there to exploit the MS database ? - Reply : trick for MS Office OLE
compatibility logo. Please note the solution proposed to professional
developers is a different philosophy.
* Dangerous manual operations - Where is the error risk ? - Provide
the user a dialog where he can browse a Metastock directory and
click the security he just bought (or want to remove) =OR= ask
him to manage OLE links step-by-step ?
* Routine - Same. Routine = risk. Keep it simple.
I'm sure the millions will prefer spending a little more bucks
in developing a better solution than having to live with error
prone operations.
PS - Sorry, I didn't read the early Step-by-Step stuff, my intrusion
was just to inform about MSFL. Your reaction is quite strange,
how is it possible to write an Excel portfolio management without
kind of programming, and isn't Excel development tool MS Office
VBA ? - You lost me.
