Rest assured that the sixth sense you seek is rarely found in trading. I
think your efforts would be best directed to long term investing....the odds
are more in your favor. Short term traders can be successful and many have
been, but the odds of them succeeding are not very good. It has been my
experience that the short term traders who are successful are devoid of
emotion. Once emotion gets involved, the trader is dead.
At least the long term investor is not defeated by his emotion, so long as he
has patience. And that is the key....patience. The use of TA is just as
important as FA for the investor. I use them both all the time.
I seldom get involved in short term trading discussions on this list. I read
them all though...never can tell when you might learn something. Are there
any long term investors out there who like to start a discussion????????????
