[amibroker] Re: setting automatic analysis filters programmatically

You are describing a chicken and egg problem.

In order to execute your script, you must start the scan/exploration/backtest. Once the scan/exploration/backtest has started it is too late to change the ApplyTo.

So what's the answer? Run a batch process (see BatMan in files section of this group). Else, write your own JScript, VBScript or whatever else you want to use COM to first initialize AmiBroker's Analysis object with your desired ApplyTo settings before running the scan/exploration/backtest, etc.
