If you can run a virtual windows machine on Solaris you can run AB. I don't think you can run it directly though, since their binaries are not compatible.
Linux is the future. Solaris is only good for server.

Sofar on my two laptops it has been one of the very, very few that is running without a hitch and recognises all the hardware without a hitch.

If Solaris for x86 survives the Oracle acquisition then it is going to be a strong contender for replacing M$N in the office. (I expect it to survive since it gives Oracle the desktop-to-server integration so makes it a one stop shop for businesses. Many businesses want moving away from M$N )
