Ok this morning I loaded an IB live chart prior to market open. Once again there was a small difference between the market open initially reported. Thinkorswim immediately reported the ES open at 914.00 while IB's live chart reported 913.75. Amibroker chart also showed 913.75.
Here's the interesting part, after refreshing the IB live chart it corrected the ES open to show it as 914.00 but after nearly a dozen attempts to refresh the Amibroker chart the ES open still remained at 913.75. I even went so far as to completely shut down AB and restart it.
Not sure why this is the case. I'll try refreshing the Amibroker chart again later today and if is still doesn't adjust it to 914.00 I will delete the data from today and try to reload it from scratch.
I would still like to know how other RT data sources are handling the market open. User feedback please!
