Methinks you are doing something odd. At 5
decimal places I see no difference between OscP() and the EMA ratio / 100.
But if anyone is happy with the EMA ratio and thinks that the difference between
the two averages is hundreds of a percent than go with it. Or just stick
with MACD(). All of this stuff will get you down the same road (for the
most part).

here......Question about PPO
But if you plot them both and look at the values there are off
even when you multiply PPO by 100. There is something going on in OscP that
makes the results different and I haven't a clue what it is. The small
difference may not make any difference. Maybe OscP is not using EMAs. I don't
know. I just know they do not return the same results. Maybe testing both will
determine if either can be used.

Price Oscillator. So, you want to deal in % and need to multiply the
ema(fast) - ema(slow)/ema(slow) by 100. OscP() already does that.
If you don't want the result in % then divide by 100. The key thing is
that OscP() does the ema() calculation. The Users Guide should make that
point. > > Bill > ----- Original Message -----
