Close Ami. Don't delete any files in the old database. Deleting the wrong file will ruin your database.

Rename it by adding BU to the end of the name to make sure it does not change. If you don't rename the existing database creating a new one with the same name will erase all the data in the old database.

Start Ami and create a new database with a new name. Then close Ami.
Copy all the files in the old database, except the "_" file and paste them into the new database. Say yes to the replace all caution message.

Now start AMI and see what you have. The broker.watch is your watch list. Layouts contains all the formulas you had in your old database.

You will now have to copy all the indicators you created into the new database Formulas file.

Once you back fill all the symbols you may want to delete amy symbols you don't need. There is a cleanup program to do that in tools.

That should get you back to where you were before the crash.
