When running an exhaustive optimization the following error is sometimes generated.
Error 19.
COM method/function `Symbol' call failed.
Internal application error.
It is impractical to post about 1500 lines of code so, the lines of code from where the error is generated are
//Retrieve Exit Type from static variable(s) 1
xExitTypeName = "ExitType" + oPos2.Symbol + NumToStr(xaBarDate[xBar], 1.0, False);
xExitType = StaticVarGetText(xExitTypeName);
Repeated running of the optimization, without any code changes, results in the optimization halting after a different number of passes. Sometimes it even runs to completion.
Please, any suggestions as to how I might attack this.
