Supposed I have two different criteria I want to rank my list of symbols for my rotation script by - Criteria A and Criteria B. The values end up like this:
Criteria A & Criteria B have raw values (ie RSI, MACD, whatever, but they're distinct values and not related), the symbols are then ranked by those values to create the criteria ranking below.
Symbol Criteria A (Ranking) Criteria B (Ranking)
IBM 1 5
AAPL 4 1
GOOG 3 3
INTC 5 4
DELL 2 2
Now I want to buy the symbol w/ the lowest average ranking, in this case DELL (2+2)/2 = 2. I know how to flipflop PositionScore to buy the lowest, my question is, how can i rank across a watchlist prior to setting the PositionScore for the actual buy-sig ranking?
Thanks.
