Thanks for the reply Rich.I guess it is similar to an A/D line,except I'm looking for a % instead of the total. The oscillator you mentioned sounds interesting,I'm going to try that. I'd still like to find out why what I'm trying to do isn't working, just for future reference. Oh well.. thanks again. -jim
