Thanks for the note and I am glad to see
that others like Jerry had a similar idea before. I will try to get in
touch with him. To get back to one of your comments I definitely think that
indeed the person in charge of this event should be knowledgeable with
conferencing tools, and also make sure to structure this the way any conference
is: publish guide for the conference content, format and best parctice, ask for
early submission of articles, and even allow for poster submission wich would
be evaluated by a conference committee and would be published on the conference
website.
I agree that all the presentation could be published without
the need to bepresented in a conference but then one would miss what a
conference is made for: interactivity and real time sharing of experience.
