Dick, I am aware of that portion of Yahoo and use to download the
industry data (^yhxxxx) each night. Stopped doing so for a number of
reasons.
I was inquiring and hoping that Amiquote could read a list of tickers
in our database and then connect with Yahoo and retrieve the industry
to which it is assigned.
I don't mind manually entering in the tickers I am interested in.
Amiquote updates the Full Name during the fundamental data retrieval
(I believe). But the Industry/Sector assignment is the one aspect
that would be nice to have automated.
