Hi All,
Thie morning, I upgraded my Amibroker from V5.1 to V5.2 and discovered
that my IB Feed for the futures contracts that I am trading no longer
works. I get the following error message "
SYMBOL "APH9-SNFE-FUT" IS INVALID!
Msg -1,509 Exception caught while reading socket
I know that these symbols that I am using are valid because I was
happily trading them yesterday and can clearly see that they are being
traded in TWS at the moment. Are there some additional steps that I
need to undertake to allow my IB data feed to work again ? I had a
quick look at the documentation around and could not find anything
obvious. i have tried to create an new symbol, this time substituting
the FUT to F to no avail and I have tried using both production TWS
account and paper trading TWS, also to no avail.
ope somebody can shed some new light on this
