Sure...
1. In AB, go to Tools > Preferences > Data and set the default DB to 
something other than the DB you will be deleting.

2. Close AB, open windows Explorer, go to the AB directory and delete your 
DB.

If you have put a lot of work into that DB, you might consider saving a few 
things before deleting it, like the Layouts and Watchlists folders and the 3 
Broker.xxx files, to use in your new DB, but in your case perhaps might just 
perpetuate the problem, I don't know...
