Looks like you are looking for afl metric functions too ;-) I also have to run the Backtester twice to get my metrics.
I Know VERY little about OLE and JS programming. However I use Persistent variables (see UKB) to pass parameters to JS (it reads the files) and I let JS write similar files, or modify existing ones, that are read by AFL.
Are you an experienced JS programmer? If so, you might be able to develop a better method.
Do you have a GUI for parameters in JS?
