Yes, I use it.  No, I do not have trouble getting the data into AmiBroker.

Go to the /book page and click on the "installation" link.  You will be downloading the chapter of the book, Introduction to AmiBroker, that describes installing AmiBroker and several data feeds.  QPFeed is one of the data feeds documented in detail -- screen capture images, numbered steps, and so forth.  Among other things, it shows the typical settings for the database.

If your system seems to be set up correctly, the problem may be the communications line.  Start out collecting data for only one symbol.
