Yes, you can do most anything using GFX however you'll have to do some programming yourself. For an example of how GFX works see Help and:

Jim Hutchison published a GFX Example showing how to plot multiple small charts - you'll have to search this list's archive for the code.
An easier way is to forget about the miniature plots and use an exploration. For a simple example on how colors can be used in explorations see:
