At the moment I am using TWS 886.5

with plugin 1.8.0 and XOM and DIG backfill just fine (tested with 180, 30 and 1 day(s) backfill length)

I upgraded to the AB 5.19,  TWS 888.7,  DLL 1.8.0.0, and Java 1.6.0.10 and I'm getting a lot of SYMBOL INVALID messages with I ask for either Backfill CURRENT or BACKFILL Realtime List.   This is coming with the use of a simple real time quote window with 1 minute resolution in the database configuration.  Since I changed so many things at once (I had not used the IB plugin in a while) I'm not sure what's causing this.

I'm getting SYMBOL INVALID on some plain vanilla large cap tickers, like say XOM rejected as well as some of the PROFUNDS   DIG and others.  I know these are valid since the work on IB and I can display them on the IB TWS graph and real time windows.

 

Am I missing a configuration button that would point the DLL to the SMART exchange?
