Hi all,
I have been away from AB for a year's time or so (and oh boy, things
have been added!), but finding that I have some teething problems
installing it on my Linux box (using PCLinuxOS, and Wine).
Issue 1:
Whenever I try to drag/drop an indicator into an existing pane, cursor
turns in the the 'forbidden' sign (circle with a slash through), and I
can't do it. I would edit by hand, but... (read on)
Issue 2:
When editing a formula, the editor opens and lets me edit, but as soon
as I type the beginning parenthesis of a function, program stops
responding. I guess this is where the inbuilt function help normally
kicks in.
I have tried switching off Automatic Completion and Case ditto in the
editor preferences, though problem persists.
If anyone has any suggestions, they will be most welcome. I know AB is
mainly a Windows program, but I would really dislike to have to run
Windows just for this, and having read that many others use AB under
Linux without problems... well, hope springs eternal.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
Cheers!
CJ
