Hello,
I'm trying to setup amibroker with an IB feed. Sometimes the
backfill works fine. Most times however I get the error:
"Error processing request:-'vb: cause- Duplicate ticker ID for API
historical data query".
I've tried different versions of Amibroker (versions 4.70, 5.00 and
5.10) and different versions of the IB plugin (1.6.8, 1.7.0 and
1.7.1) all of them gave the same problem. I also tried to reduce the
backfill to 1 and 5 days. The changes of succes seem to be bigger
with such a short backfill, but it is still unreliable.
If I use quotetracker as a go between all seems to work like a
charm. The only problem with the quotetracker solution is de
backfill limitations built in quotetracker. A few days backfill is
sufficient for day to day use. However if I want to research a new
symbol or backfill the gaps after a vacation this solution is
insufficient.
Can someone please provide me with some hints to solve this problem?
