Brian,
It seems that no so long ago somebody called for not going too personal.
Phsst has made good points IMHO.
I have to agree with Phsst, that the ratio between off-topic posts to on-topic has grown recently.
While discussion about "how bad is the help file" may look attractive, if anybody
wants to _really_ help newbies, it is better just to start writing for the UKB (I know that you did in the past
and I thank you for that).
