Joseph,
I should explain that I was suggesting was a Gfx defined shape in a
relative sense only. Shapes are pixel oriented shapes. They do not
change their size no matter how the price or time axis change. Gfx
plots are the same. So the idea is to define a Gfx shape that will be
placed on the chart as if it were any other shape which are place
relative to Y price and X time axis. In other words, x=0, y=0 of the
Gfx shape would be the nominal location of the Plotted Shape. Any of
the current shapes could be duplicated this way, and any new shape
(including new arrow types) could be defined this way. If you wanted
to control the scaling of a shape, then define it with variables. The
alternative suggested by Herman would be to define a bitmapped shape
as an icon that is plotted. Nothing wrong with this approach either.
Which to use would more likely be a factor of which approach the
current internal shapes use.

Dennis
