Candle's within candle's. Yes, that sounds like another interesting
variation. I actually think that's doable on AB. If you set the base
time frame to 1 min, and use the 'TimeFrame' functions you should be
able to plot a 5 min candle over the 1 min candles. However, you'd
need to do so with some form of transparency to see the 1 min candles.
Not sure how you'd do that... But then I guess you could plot the 5
min candles first then the 1 min candles on top.
But I think what I've described above illustrates the problem with
equivolume candles. The X-axis is by definition given a specific width
which relates to a time unit (the base unit e.g. 1 min) and cannot be
varied. I can't see how you can achieve eqivolume charts... but I'm
very happy to be proven wrong.
