Herman,
What you describe is not that different than my setup -- Except mine
is all Apple Hardware running VM for Windows XP. The interesting
thing about this approach is that the device drivers are emulated by
the VM. This means that even though I have different Apple machines
with different video and other hardware, Windows thinks I have the
same well supported hardware no matter what I have.
One of the strengths of Apple machines is the limited but well
supported hardware configurations all provided by the same source.
Running Windows in a VM environment brings that aspect to Windows.
I am not suggesting that switch to Apple hardware, but consider if
using Virtualization technology would provide a more robust
environment for multiple OSs.
Best regards,
Dennis
