[amibroker] Re: Jim's US-stocks database unavailable?

Louis - you're right, something has changed at Jim's site. I just
downloaded both the .zip file and the Excel file from his site just a
few days ago.

I unzipped the file and created the empty database as "US-Stocks New".
Like you, I did not want the OTC-BB stock names in all of the industry
lists - so there is a utility in AB under the SYMBOL dropdown near the
bottom called "Organize Assignments". In that, under MARKETS there is
a list of all of the *.OB stocks under OTC.

Just click this list, then under the SELECTED the DELETE button will
illuminate, and when you click it, all of the *.OB stocks disappear
from the DB.

it seems like I need a password to get to his site. Anyone had the
same problem?

I know we discussed a lot about this, but what I tried was a failure.

quotes and erase the .OB with Word, and all it did was to make
Amibroker crash and I had to change the name of the folder so AB would
not automatically crash each time I start it.
