If Alan would like a list then the consitituents of the S&P Indices,
for the ASX, are a reasonable way to go:
the ASX is a GICS market,
the Yahoo data comes from AspectEquity (Oz's premier provider of
fundamental data),
AFAIK AspectEq only provide all of the data at the Yahoo site for the
top 200-300 stocks (at least last time I looked).
go to www.standardandpoors

for the download to CSV
then use text functions in the spreadsheet to append .AX (examples at
the UKB in the global1200 post).

A good find - this must be new data - it wasn't there a year or two
ago AFAIK - the stability numbers are provided by JohnPrice from
Conscious Investing - not sure what period they reference though (it
is in the AspectEq docs - you can also get the AE info (downloadable)
from the ETRade site, or used to be able to (account holders only).
