I had similar problems too. In the database settings, I had set 
45000 bars.   Once the database crossed the 45000 bars, system 
became very slow.    After I deleted some of the data, it became 
alright.    I do not know if the data volume is the exact cause.  
Just I thought of sharing this info with you.
