I guess it depends how much free time you have to maintain databases. Also, most things you get for free lack quality in data and support. For me I'd rather spend time developing new trading systems than maintaining databases. I use QP, eSignal and am testing Premiumdata. I like PremiumData and might drop QP. I have never used any free data, the hassles are just not worth it for me.
