1. Access
means open file by double clicking on its name?
a. what
application is associated with .afl? (i.e. notepad.exe)?
b. I
do not believe Windows indexes the content of afl files, not even Microsoft
Desktop search
2. If
you use UltraEdit to edit afl files, you can search from within UltraEdit for
all .afl files with certain strings in them. Fairly nice implementation. A
byproduct of using this application is the ability to do syntax highlighting of
afl language (there is wordfile.uew posted somewhere for
that)

Subject: [amibroker] afl files / Windows
XP
Having a problem with
handling afl files.
Code works OK
...problem is:
1. When I access afl
files by using windows explorer, files are slow to apear in window .. appears as
though they are not indexed.
2. When I do a search
for specific text with an afl file, files is not found ... (even though file
with seach text exists).
