Thats good news. Gmail/SSL support wud help a lot. 

One more note: 
   I found out that most likely my ISP. (AT&T) is blocking port 25 for
SMTP. So I am also not able to connect to any unsecured SMTP server. I
think Outlook uses port 587 to connect. I tried FREE SMTP SERVER as
you had recommended in one post but it does not connect to Port 25/

Please include the feature to allow user to select port for SMTP if
needed with SSL support.
